Ken Hall

Gensler

Ken Hall is responsible for Sustainable Design Systems at Gensler where he is focused on the intersection of information modeling and sustainability. He is a licensed architect with 25 years of AEC industry expertise in information technology and sustainability. Ken designed his first passive solar structure in 1979. He pioneered applications of early building modeling systems and web-based AEC collaboration tools. Ken is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (and will soon be a LEED-AP accredited professional). He has chaired his local community task forces developing strategic plans to achieve sustainability and served as a board member for the Sustainable Product Purchasing Coalition. In his role at Gensler, Ken speaks to many audiences on a variety of sustainability issues, but especially how we can use information modeling to design an ecologically sustainable, human-built world.
